Surfing Waves

I'm pretty new to surfing and living in the London / Essex area I find it hard to get down to cornwall as much as I want to, so does anyone know where in essex is a good place to surf????

Nowhere in Essex is any good really, you can surf there but its 5hit. You should try Norfolk/Suffolk on a big northerly swell and thats usually ok.

hi i have never surfed in norfolk/ suffolk i know of cromer but what other bays are worth taking a look at ????

www.wannasurf.com lists the main areas on the south east coasts. There are many many more to find if you use you head ;)
