Shaped by Chris Diplock in the UK.

Definitely the leopard skin. I hear it’s back in fashion.

Or will be after you are seen wearing it

Matching wetsuit?

They were photos I took that I felt worth framing, the one on the left I called Shadowdancer, won an award!
The other is of Pambula river mouth doing a back door pipe imitation!

The van is a replica of an FJ Holden* panel van , glad you noticed the Easter eggs!

Holden was a General Motors fully Australian made series of cars, much like Vauxhall in the UK and Opel in Europe, sadly gone like all the brands of car to be made elsewhere!

It was a straight six, column shift. Three speed gear box, simple car but now a collectors item.

Have kneeboarded before. Yes Some days at DeeWhy Point especially days at Little Avalon. Blue Bay and Banzai on the central coast + a couple of slabby breaks that shall remain nameless

So my Hawaiian fins have arrived for the kneeboard.
They are Hanelei fins a quad set XTC fins and a set of WTF fins as a mix and match, still seeking an optimum centre fin.
As you know Uncle Jaffa likes experimenting with fins so pictures , reviews after fins meet water.

Interesting fin shape. When will you put that in action - I assume this is not something for riversurfing?

Multi propose board, but predominantly a kneeboard for ocean surf.
Kneeboards were the direct predecessor of the short board going deeper and more radically than the longboard of the early 60s
If you can get hold of any footage of George Greenough you can see why!
Knee boards have always been an alternate craft for odd wave spots that can’t handle on a longboard!
River surfing might be only a stop gap, and a video project, but special board coming for that!

Fancy!

The fins seem a long way forward, I guess that is part of it being a kneeboard (I know absolutely nothing about kneeboard design)

Yes the weight distributionbeing on your knees makes the forward fin position necessary, normal fin set ups very tight to turn :D
