Surfing Waves

Yep my shaper just called and said he has finished a 9'3" gun board for me to add to my quiver. I think he is giving it to me like as in for free. Awesome guy. I love his boards. I am not sure what I did to deserve this but glad that I did whatever it was. Pictures will follow Saturday pickup.

Not fair!

My shaper has taken 6 months off to build a house and a small self sustaining farm. Not that I need a new board, but it ain’t gonna happen while he does his hippy lifestyle thing

I mean, surfboard shaper with a farm in the hills overlooking the beach. Who would want that?

"Free" sounds pretty good. Don't forget to share photos tomorrow. Coincidentally, I can envision a board shaper whose dogs will never go without veterinarian care from here on out. Wink-Wink! (smiley happy face, too)

Yeah it's nice to have a board just made for larger surf. I can use any of my boards except the SUP boards in larger surf but they are all not made for it. I am curious how this board will work in smaller surf as well. It has a vee nose to cut through chop and keep the board from slowing down too much if I should air drop on a steep big wave. Interesting it has a double leash plug
