Sinking problems

i was wondering if someone could help im new to surfing i went and had a board made for me but when i try and stand on the board it seems to sink at the back does the mean that im placing my feet in the wrong place any help anyone could give me would be great or has anyone had the same problem could you let me know because im getting a little down by the problem thank you

i may be wrong but i think u shud lean a little forward that or get more speed

I think I may have identified the problem.... :wink:

What size are you? What size is the board? What shape is the board?

But whatever the shape etc, yeah, you need to generate lots more speed and then distribute your weight better - put simply, weight on the front makes the board go faster, weight on the backfoot makes it stall :?

If the board is planing nice and fast (27.4564565456 mph or above. Just ask Roy) it wont sink.

If you have just started with surfing, I recommend that you download this great E-book written by Mike Low. This will help you with lots of questions and will improve your surfing. It's like having your own trainer at home.
