No Surf? No Problem!

Postby billie_morini » Sat Nov 24, 2018 5:21 pm

BaNZ and billie are visiting together on the California Central Coast. There was no surf the day after Thanksgiving. What did these two kooks do? Simple. They played the "Surf the World" surfing board game! It was a very close contest throughout mid-tide. They claimed waves at Rincon USA, Cloudbreak Fiji, Santa Catalina Panama, Mudaka Spain, G-land Indonesia, Raglan New Zealand, and Jeffreys Bay South Africa!

No waves in Oz. Poorly played, Superbank , Kirra, Byron Bay, the List s endless, even a bout at Bells has a certain ring to it!.
BTW , all the river waves in entrap Europe are flat, so little rain the rivers are very low!

But this was what Mundaka was like while you were on the board game

Which one of you was the board in the middle?

A note for Bille. A fine Fleisch coast geologically and for beef dishes! :woot:

all big wave surfers ditch their boards
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Jaffa, we tried Bells Beach in OZ. The aggro locals ran us out. They became downright vicious when we claimed you are our Uncle. Whatever you did back there must really have been something!

Did you try to ring the Bell? You have to win the Bell to ring the Bell ! Try to do that and even Uncle Jaffa can't protect you!

Hilarious - glad you guys are visiting. I was going to make an appearance and join BaNZ and his lady for a few days, but had to stay in NYC. Would have loved to meet you, Billie!

OMG, Rachelle! Now that would have been something! Please remain encouraged to keep Mrs. Morini, Roxy Ridgeback, and me on your Bucket List. Extra points if you bring a puppy. Here's three that get along tremendously well despite their size differences. You'll recognize at least one of them as BaNZ's.

Wow! That's a beautiful picture! And of course I know Miso and Chibi very well - we hung out a bunch this summer. I have a 15 year old dachshund who is my world, but sadly not a great travel partner. Even still she loves the beach and had lots of fun with Miso and Chibi this year as well. <3 <3

Rachelle, this is a lovely photo of Queenie and you! Although, Mrs. Morini and I are big dogs, I've got a soft spot for dachshunds.

This is a screenshot that demonstrates why this forum is so cool. We have friendly surfers and dog lovers sharing camaraderie from Napa (NorCAL), NY (LonG Island), Kauai (Hawaii), ?Oz or New Zealand (where are you again, dtc?), and more (like UK, Austria, etc). The more is evidenced in Waiki's 1 DEC 2018 posted story about a true-to-life surfing wedding proposal.
