I'll be on a wave and I'll hop of and start paddling out. Halfway out I'll feel like my toes are being ripped off. I look at my toes and see the tendons are messed up. So I try to just go on and surf but it is THE WORST. After a good long ride where I move my toes a lot it always seems to stop hurting and my tendons snap back into place.
Just one of those things...
