Hi surfers! I am Stela, I live in Croatia and I am applying for college. I should start college next year in October somewhere in UK, I just don't know where yet. I would like for it to be in a place where I can surf. Therefore, I would be very grateful if anybody of you locals could reccomend me a place in UK with good waves, but also a somewhat student city, not to be so isolated.
Thank you so much, xo

Exeter in the SW.

Or Cardiff also close to SW. You will need a car to drive to surf spots.

Cars are really cheap in UK. So the first thing you should do is get a driving license which is the hardest part.

The SW coast of UK isn't heavily populated. It is just full of old uk pensioners and the prospect of career isn't great. Most students will choose the bigger cities like London, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield etc. But if you really love surfing that much then you should go SW coast. I've not been to Exeter but if the university is in the top rankings, then it will be a lively university town.
