Surfing Waves

Forget what size board I need to bring, now I got to figure out the optimum fin set up.


Go Quad, Thruster, or Twin on one side ? Or then flip it around and go Single on the other ??

( actually it's not my own board, just one I found for sale )

Seriously? Is a reversible board a thing? Cool idea, but I wonder how well it works.

They're great. You can go from cruise to rip. You can have both a Takayama Scorpian and a Firewire Chumlee shape all in one board. But you got to spend more on a extra leash rope.

I would like to see someone ride that off both tails on a single wave.....that would be cool.....

That board, which isn't mine, is a double nosers. My board is a real double ender.

It's so insane. Standing on the quads, the nose is so minimal and pierces thru the lip easily. Standing on the single fin, it stills nose rides and really stable. Paddling is a bit strange though.

Just like you said about my potato!
