Surfing Waves

Hello everyone! I’m a surfer from Hawaii and I grew up in that tropical water however I’m visiting the Bay Area and around Santa Cruz! I was wondering where 3-5 ft waves may be and good spots that have lifeguards on duty and also if anyone could clue me in on the shark attacks going on in Cali that would be fantastic!!!:) thanks everybody
