Surfing Waves

Anyone off to anywhere nice over the bank holiday surfing?
Im off to north scotland, looks like its gonna be cranking but the wind could be a problem

I may be off to Rest Bay on Good Friday - or maybe Bournemouth, depends on if I'm allowed!! and if either place is breaking!

rest bay is totally flat right now, and forecast to be flat all weekend. il let you know if it perks upa bit but i am all frustrated at it at the moment cos it dont look like it gonna be surfable for a while :(

oooh tell a lie, its 2-3ft today so maybe friday will be ok... im goin this afternoon, wish me luck with my duckdive! lol

well im back from scotland and i took an absolute pounding. First day was great surfed this little whitesand beach with crystal clear water. Saturday and Sunday a new swell came in and the waves were about 8 to 10ft. Got slightly phased by the size out back and lacked conviction in paddling to catch them. Definatly got good paddling practice and how to get out in big surf.

Yes ive got some but the are on a good old fashioned camera and so i need to get them developed

didnt get to go anywhere on the bank holiday itself but on thursday i went up to sandsend with a mate. it looked falt when we got there but got in with bodyboards n actually got some decent waves n a couple of three foot sets. I actually managed to get barreled on one of them which was very cool. My first barrel yay!

Am looking to go somewhere from bristol over bankholiday can only afford one trip and will have to sleep in car. anyone know where abouts in the uk is gonna be best over bank hols

i have not looked in depth, but the general theme seems to be that the whole of the british isles is gonna be fairly pance this weekend
