Scooters are getting the flack from skateboarders just as the Fruit-Booters ( rollerbladers ) got before them.
Just wanted to share my latest toy(s), which is not a scooter but a "kick board". K2 used to make the original version, but not anymore. You still can get a similar version from companies like Micro. The big difference is you hold on to the top "ball" with ONLY the front hand. So stance and ride is closer to surfing. Not hold straight forward the handlebar grips with two hands like on the kids scooters.
And like anything, you can't just leave well enough alone. Changing out the wheels, springs, etc. to adjust the ride. They're really fun.
