I know there have been many concept travel boards, but are there any real travel boards that are portable and can still surf? I know there are a lot of inflatable SUPs out there, but how do they ride? I saw a 5'8" mini Simmons shape by ULI Boards I considered buying just for traveling. The only issue is its an inflatable and I'm not sure I want to pay for something I've never tried. Anyone know of any other travel boards? or have tried ULI.

My travel board is a Pope Bisect, im happy with it. 9ft Wayne Rich model , i am happy with and have been for over five years, it doesn't do a lot of surf time, so as a basic standard board it pretty much covers me well.
It was dearer than an normal similar board, but has saved its worth in airline fees as it travels personal sporting equipment in its own rectangular travel bag.
There have been mixed reviews of the board and I believe the company is new hands?? There was a carbon fibre hollow black Bisect product that had very damning reviews bothof the board and the after sales and warranty fulfilment..
I see stuff from time to time Uli boards are one such. I dont see a short board as a travel issue, much more easily addressed by choice of airline! :D
