Well if SKIM boarding can be included under Surfing tricks, check out this BODY boarding move from Dave Hubbard.
Most people know of an El Rollo ( like a through the lip corkscrew 360 ). But have you seen a Reverse Spin El Rollo ? For me it was a "Wah ??" moment.

My cousin rides a boogie board standing up, I think he just does this to be different. Yeah skim boarders have been doing that since I was a kid nearly 60 years ago

When I was a young tyke I used to skim board just up the face of waves and back down to the beach but other guys would ride the wave a bit. It's all about timing and the wave of course. Mostly I liked to ride straight into the wave and launch and do flips and stuff since it's much easier to time that right. I have heard that surfers have completed el rollo's but haven't seen any youtubes yet .......maybe that will come from wave pools
