Surfing Waves

hey all,
I've been reading Taj Burrow's Book of hot surfing, (not the website, the book has about 20 times as much as teh website, with all different tricks and evrythin)

and theres a section on waxing your board and it's using SEXWAX, and i was wondering if you sue sexwax, and what are your thoughts on it.

I'm living in vicco suburban, gotta travel for 1.5 horus to get 2 a break, BTW im only 14 and in skool, so i can only go occasionally.

Is SEXWAX better than Mrs palmers?

PS: I know there's already a topic on which wax do you use.. but hey.

Palmers is ten times better because when it comes down to staying on your board in cold spots that xxxxx stays on like glue while zoggs balls up and rolls off.

sexwax never comes off for me. Never not once... sounds like you're using wrong temp-range wax for your water temp.

k thanks guys, i think i'll keep using palmers or hatever wax i can get my hands on..

I reckon people make too much of a deal out of wax - if it sticks you to your board then it works.

Personally I use whatever I can get my hands on, don't even look at what I'm buying most of the time!

Then again, the water is never warm enough for the wax to not stick - I think they probably only sell cold water wax here!

I use sex wax for a base coat, but sticky bumps for my top coat. Sex wax blows for a top coat.
I wish ganja wax was easier to find, that stuff is awesome.

Sexwax all the way....apparently Palmers' was created for lucky surfers who surf in boardies and rash vests, so it wasnt taken into account that people with wetsuits would use the stuff too, and some of the chemicals can damage the neoprene?! Dont know how true this is, so dont quote me! Anyone else heard this?
