Sharks In NY

has any1 here ever even heard of a shark attack happening in NY or even around it? Last year there was only 1 harmless shark

Theres been attacks there.
Theres more then just harmless sharks there as well...

sharks suck, even those sand sharks or whatever that camoflauge with the sand. i stepped on one of those once and it got my foot, but it was more like a scratch than an actual bite

No im not being sarcastic. There have been attacks on long island. Have you heard of a great white? The world record great white was caught in new jersey, i doubt a state line is going to stop him from visiting new york/long island.

I dont have a link, i read about it somewhere, like i said, its been a while.
Why are you thinking that there are no sharks in new york?????

because i never heard about shark attacks here. I only heard about a sighting of a harmless shark. NJ is pretty far away from NY...100+ miles

ok im just sayin i dont think its that attractive for them to be in NY..polution is the main reason.

Thats a good point, but they can still stay offshore, i dont even know where exactly the attack was, whether it was by the beach or offshore. And it was an attack from a long time ago, so it may not of been as polluted.
