how to prevent ball rash?

Whats up people? I never really surfed in warm water before, but have been trunkin it lately, and now I have a wicked case of ball rash. Does anybody know how to prevent this and what to do once you have it?

I wear lycra shorts under my boardies/ wetsuit.
Just like a rash vest for your groin!!

i get it when im wearin boardies-i find they slap and rub against my inner thighs all the way up and give me a rash....any advice, cause it doesnt half make you walk funny when your tryin to stop your legs touching!!!!!

Get this, the gulf is 80 degrees and salty, lots of rash...
