One of the best threads i've read in a looonnnnggggg time. I think you guys should start incorporating 'prone' in to your surf lingo

Also, after my last post did you really think I would finally settle on that one new sup i brought?! My history of buying selling suggests otherwise
The next day I ended up buying this- a 75yr old guy had it custom made on the end of a run of the agenda boards in an asian factory. 8'6 x 31 x 4 1/2. 120l. Double flyer swallow tail with a 4+1 fin box. HEAVILY glassed.
Despite being 15L less than the 8'8 JC Deep I brought and 1" more narrow, it seems to be more stable.
We have ANOTHER cyclone over here at the moment so hoping to try it proper waves tomorrow.
The 75yr old said he had it in double overhead and took the piss out of me for wanting to run it as a 2+1 instead of a quad! #aspirations

Funny bit there, surprising he got some apparently serious responses or maybe they were similarly sarcastic.
