Hello guys,

I have a few questions to ask about the O'Neill Superfreak 4/3. This is my first time buying an O'Neill wetsuit so i would like to know your opinion and reviews on this suit: flexibility, comfort, etc.
Also I'm a little bit worried about the size: I'm 178cm, 68-70kg, 96-98cm chest and 85cm waist and idk if i should go for the S or the M.
The info given in the O'Neill website is the following:

SIZE | HEIGHT(CM) | WEIGHT(KG) | CHEST(CM) | WAIST(CM)

S | 173-178 | 61-70 | 95-99 | 75-79

M | 175-180 | 70-77 | 99-104 | 79-84

If I dont buy the oneill superfreak my second option would be the Quiksilver syncro so you can give me your opinion on that too.

Thanks and good waves!

In imperial:

I'm 5'10", 145-152lb, 37,8"-38,5" chest, 33,3" waist

O'Neill size guide:

SIZE | HEIGHT(IN) | WEIGHT(LB) | CHEST(IN) | WAIST(IN)

S | 5'8" - 5'10" | 135 - 155 | 36.5” - 38.5” | 29" - 31"

M | 5'9" - 5'11" | 150 -170 | 38.5” - 40.5” | 30.5” - 32.5”

Suggest you go out to a shop and actually try on the 2 sizes and see which one fits/feels better. I've had issues with sizing when it comes to O'Neill. Their entry level suit Epic, doesn't fit me correctly, it's too snug(purchased online based on price/size w/out trying it on), but I got one of their higher end suits recently, in the same size, Psycho One, and it fits me perfect. They are made out of different types of neoprene, which explains part of it, but the cut of the suit itself is different, it's visibly noticeable. Don't make the same mistake and waste money on a suit that doesn't fit correctly going solely off of their sizing guide.

The only person I know who bought a wetsuit off the web ended up exchanging it for a different size. I'm sure all kinds of folks buy online, but for the inconvenience, I'd hope the price is right.
