Well it's a big island you could look at the other coasts? I don't know what's going on over here but in the past year there has been a dearth of waves at the beach I surf. It's been the worst since I restarted surfing. Back when I first restarted there were so many huge days with no one out something like 6 or 7 years ago. There was one period with 6 to 8 foot (Hawaiian) waves every day for 3 straight weeks and not too many surfers out. Unfortunately I only surfed one day a week back then, in fact that was when I decided to go more often. Now I go 2 days a week but if it were up like that time I would try to go more often. Now if there is good surf it is crowded (but not by your standards

) but mostly it is really small. If I had more time I could go to the other sides of the island which are having good surf more frequently. This weekend doesn't look good for my beach but maybe I can find some small waves to ride.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.
