Junk or treasure?

Postby benjl » Mon Oct 24, 2016 10:13 am

I came across the shop called 'junk and disorderly' today and found this amazing array of old boards around the place!

Was quite fascinated looking at all the different shapes and fin styles / configurations!
Also interesting to see how thick even the smaller boards were. I found a fish that was maybe 6'4 long and looked about 4" thick!

This Brian weaver board is only
About 5'10 and the smallest 'classic board' I've probably come across. Really pointed nose and very narrow tail but yet really thick all the way through and a crazy single fin shape!

I could spend some time looking around there but probably wouldn't buy anything. When I was in Fort Collins Colorado in college they had a bar there called Washington's which had a wide assortment of different things all over. I don't recall any surfboards but it was a huge 3 story building and had an airplane and a covered wagon and tons of stuff all over the place. It had a similar look to it.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.
