Mademoiselle Léa Brassy: surfer

Léa Brassy is an outdoorswoman. She grew up in northern France. By the time she was 17, she moved to southern France for warm water surf. Then she found the Unstad break in the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway. Patagonia made a 10 minute film about her.

Léa is VERY cool! She said, "I only own the minimum. I only need the minimum." The minimum is a small camper and 3 surfboards. She is very cute, too.

What did she say she did for a living? I didn't catch that part...maybe I need to watch it again. Yeah three surfboards, you need your main board for what you surf mostly then you need a backup and then you need a bigger wave board. Wetsuits!!! to surf there you need wetsuits more than one.

Ol' Man,
Lea doesn't say in the film short. Early in she says, "My passion is surfing!" It almost sounds like, "My profession is surfing!"

Lea is a certified nurse and sometimes works in nursing. Example: she worked 2015 as a nurse in French Polynesia. Then she took off for a multi-country tour. She's truly a nomadic sportswoman. Sometimes her adventures are sponsored. For a good while, she has been a surfing ambassador sponsored by Patagonia.

Following another miserable day in the office makes me think she is way smarter about living than I will ever be.

I did an article about Lea over 10 years ago. At the time she was a Billabong team rider and model, and was doing her nursing studies in Biarritz.

could you perhaps post that article or link? Never had such an impression in a person that lives so humble and yet at the same time she has it all. gotta recognize that
