I imagine Big Island has huge surf but Kauai nothing much so far or at least not this morning at my beach. It looks like the storm will diminish and cross south so a south swell may be possible but for today they are predicting an east swell on Oahu but Oahu will probably block that swell from my beach on the east side of Kauai. That report is for the north shore of Oahu, it might catch some from the next hurricane also which is predicted to pass north of the islands. The next storm looks good for generating surf at my beach this weekend. You need to look at the surf report for the south and east sides of Maui and Big island.

Two hurricanes should churn up some good surf. I'm looking forward to the photo spreads.

On my way home there was an east swell hitting my beach. It looked about double overhead but no one was out at that moment that I could see. I did see lots of surfers on the beach pointing at the surf and talking but I had to go to a class reunion meeting discussing my 45th high school class reunion and plans for the 50th.
