Northern Ireland surf

Hi all, haven't been out in about 8 years since moving Away from cayton bay.
I'm now living in Northern Ireland and after a recent holiday with the kids too port rush, been devastated that there wasn't anything big enough for me too play in, I really want to get started again.
But finding good spots over here for summer is proving hard. I'm 40 mins from Newcastle which seems to be always flat, and an hour away from port rush.
I used too surf smaller days and bodyboard the bigger days, however since I can't get outasmuch as I used too, and having sold all my surfboards I'm going to stick to bodyboarding, always preferred it tbhanyways and got an old nmd player in the shed still.
So I'm looking for some sort of fairly consistent spot throwing 3ft+
Any suggestions greatly appreciated, cheers

Not a lot of options for you, looks like the stretch from Ballycastle to Magilligan past downhill is your closest options, or the far west coast. I don't think the Irish sea will throw up much other than storm surf.
I know it's along way to Tipperary, but it doesn't have surf so Donegal is your next best bet.

Yea I think I'm limited to small summers. Been thinking and will just buy another longboard to maximise sessions. Will stick to sponging for storm swells and winter as I've always preferred it for some reason.
Gonna start exploring breaks right up the coast, maybe find some hidden reefs along the way
