hi all, just wondered peoples opinions on the increasing problem of surfers cars being pinched. You know the deal, keys left on the wheel or lodged in the suspension springs in you go and the sticky fingered bast*$ds away with your motor.

Well my opinion of these car theives is er unprintable

as I came out of the water dripping wet 1 day to find my car gone! Police found it 3 days later - stuff missing but luckily no damage to the car.

ITs a risig problem that criminals are catching onto. South Wales has been a hot spot over the last year or so esp in the town and accessible beaches. Its somthing to be vry awear about.
Best to tie your key round your neck with a shoe lace. or if your key is electronic, have one cut without the electronics so you can just unlock the door and so then get at your main keys. that way you can still take it in with you.

Some wetsuits also come with pockets in them (I just found out I had one the last time I went.)

Hence why you have a key cut just for the door lock so you can put it in there.
