So what do you guys think bout the speculation on this Mako shark that may be prowling the North East coastline (UK)?

For those of you who haven't heard bout it go to:

If you have a copy of the Evening Chronicle check out the pic. Pretty scary. You never know though. I'm not sure those beasts would brave the icy cold UK waters???

:?

If there was a shark in the water we'd expect to see this kind of thing, although nothing's been spotted yet.

these scientists must not be real smart. we have makos, bulls, blacktips, tigers, and recently some research boat has spotted juvenile great whites in the gulf here and we dont have all kinds of animals washed into shore. Something is strange about that situation u guys have, but just because there are sharks in the water doesnt mean animals are going to beach themselves because theyre scared.
idk whats happening.

Just read another report on another site - http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/articles/17136855

I love this bit ,
"A spokesman for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: 'We would advise all those using the water, including surfers, fishermen and divers, to be especially careful and vigilant."

Especially bearing this in mind ,
"# Shortfin makos are the fastest species of shark, able to swim at 60mph, around the top speed of a cheetah, the fastest land animal.

# Renowned for their endurance, they can swim more than 1,320 miles - the equivalent of London to Athens - in just 37 days.

# Makos can make spectacular leaps out of the water, reaching heights of 20ft."

So what exactly are they suggesting you do about it if you are in the water and do see one steaming about at 60mph doing 20ft airs with many rows of teeth and a rumble in its belly :!:
