The sea can be a dangerous place, even for the most experienced.

We just had a kook on the news. He went surfing with some friends. Borrowed a friends board and went out through the rip alone. Within a few minutes he got taken out 150 meters. The swell is big as the typhoon was close by. Luckily people saw him and called the lifeguards. They went out and ask him if he needs saving. He said he is waiting for his friends to come pick him up. The lifeguards asked if he wanted to be rescued. He laughed and said this is his second time surfing. They took him back to the shore and he was laughing and posing for the news and photos. Now the government is discussing to ban surfers in the water when there's big swell because of this incident.

The guy is still posting photos on his Facebook thinking it is a joke and loves all the media attention he is getting.

Sadly this is a case where Darwinism would have karmically appropriate.
