Student Underground Bodyboard champs to go ahead!

The student underground bodyboard comp is on the Sat 5th march.

Meeting8.30am outside fistral surf company surf shop on cliff road(opposite burger king in newquay)

#10 entry for individuals.
#40 for teams of 5, you can have an a and a b team,
the money will go towards paying the judges.

There will be a party on the satuarday night at
belushies bar, Newquay showcasing no friends 1 & 2, cheap drinks lots of
fun.

As time is short i'm allready on the case as to wether teams send off the entry forms or they bring them on the day. Will post when I get the reply.

Ok I talked to Steve and he says they will take all the entry forms on the day and entray fee checks are made payable to "Prone Bodyboarding".

The BUSA stand-ups are set for fistral from Friday

The B00ger comp is at Tolcarn on the Sat

the booger comp will be yeah, we can still pull off stuff in messy conditions. stand-up is mostlikly to be very boaring.

yeah i was thinking i wouldnt mind seein a bboard comp as i havent seen one yet sounds like me sorted if i can get up there and oh yeah i think your the only sponger on this foroum unless someone can prove me wrong ?

Well like all of the north coast the conditions where terrible! Rob barber and Damian prisk where there to over see the comp.

But it was still a good laugh! There were 23 competitiors in the end with Ryan Phelps of course taking first by a long way for the 2nd year after cranking out trick after trick. That guy is a machine!

Cant remeber the rest of the results as yet but i'l get on the case.

I came Joint 10th with a fellow Bangor Uni sponger, Steve and our 3rd sponger, Tom, came 11th.
