Surfboard vs SUP side bites

Are there any differences between Surfboard side bites and SUP side bites?

Size is probably the only thing - SUPs tend to be have bigger sidebites. But if you are on a longboard, its probably much the same - you just have a smaller centre perhaps.

What does the fins you have written on the side ? FCS GL, GX, M3 ? Futures Fins SB1 F4 ? If you look at both websites for FCS and Futures Fins , they each have SUP fin area. But you'll notice certain fins are listed on both Surf and SUP. Were you wondering if side bites on SUPs have different templates or cant angles ?

i guess i was curious about the template and size, reason was bc i was looking into purchasing some v2 sb1 hex which seem to be discontinued but i saw them listed as SUP side bites but they happen to be the same size as the Surfboard version.
