I have always surfed with prescription sunglasses. In fact, I require vision correction for near and far and even my sunglasses are bifocal. But, I grew tired of having eyeglass frames on my head all day long no matter what I am doing. So today, I got contact lenses.

Now this story will reveal why Surfing Waves forum gets a big thumbs up. To know whether contact lenses will work when surfing, I searched the forum. In 0.2 seconds there was a good list of posts on this topic. Many surfers and water enthusiasts addressed this topic and I learned it is OK to surf with contact lenses.

Thank you, Surfing Waves!

Billy no longer surfs in braille! sized just in case he isn't wearing the contacts
Thank heavens I don't have to do that, put in contacts.

My surf routine remove dentures take out hearing aids, take off clothes, put on wetsuit or boardshorts and rashy ( season flexibility). Put in ear plugs, attach leash, have special deck grip ( no wax).
put on sunscreen on any exposed face, put on surf shade cap, put on web gloves paddle out!
SURF reverse procedure, recover car keys, open car, dress commando or briefs under jeans or shorts ( seasonal flexibility) put board in bag (Sock) in this case fix to roof racks!
If the Surf kiosk is open buy coffee and BS about how good we were! :woot:
Drive home
