7 longest waves

Postby oldmansurfer » Sun Oct 19, 2014 3:37 am

http://indosurflife.com/2014/06/the-worlds-7-longest-surf-rides/ Here is the seven longest waves. I haven't surfed any of them. but I have ridden a wave for about three fourths of a mile
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Where's the Severn bore? That should be on the list!
You'll probably find me surfing, but if not, I'll probably be in the photography studio

The Mascaret, and the Silver dragon tidal bores as is the Bono!

A full raglan wave in New Zealand through all sections, there are some ridiculously long waves out there!

 more are yet to be discovered!

Hi Kellychen welcome, for you in Vietnam the two closest tidal Bores (where a tide wave runs up a river a long way) are the Silver dragon in China and the Bono inn the northern area of Sumatra.
The Mascaret is in France and the Severn Bore in England. Raglan is long point break in New Zealand and they have all been ridden. There are no tidal bores on the Mekong unfortunately.
There is surf in Vietnam good learners surf. :D
