Hi Jaffa, No, that's a air cast in a walking boot. I broke my leg 5 weeks before the 2010 Hawaiian Noseriding Championship. Guys were coming up to me to buy my slot, since the contest was filled up and they knew I had a broken leg. The organizers wouldn't refund my entry fee, so hell I figured I'd just paddle out, lay down on my board, then paddle in and collect my contest shirt. Doctor told me no surfing for "at least" 3 months. Oh well, you know how that goes.

Well,you know in show Biz they say break a leg, as a good wish before a show's first night!

Did cross limping instead of cross stepping count! Nice!

Everyone was freaking out, especially since I was walking around the first day with one crutch. Oh, like Wingnut taught me, " Cross Step, Never shuffle " ( even if you're wearing a cast )

Trust me, it sucked because one leg was higher than the other one. Also the boot is designed to not lay flat, So transferring pressure from toe to heel was difficult.
