Surfing Waves

I had a really great day surfing a couple days ago. I was like a giddy schoolgirl for a while but now a couple days later it seems to be fading. So just wondering how long does the high last for all of you?

Usually right up until the next time when I surf like Bambi on rollerskates

I haven't been this jazzed about a surf session in a while. I am making progress in the big scheme of things putting together maneuvers into an even flow of carving. Still a little weak and not so sure footed but improving and this is backside which I only catch on the average one backside wave for three times I go surfing. Not quite there by a bit but definitely not a beginner anymore. A few months ago I surfed backside and fell on my cutbacks and went off the wave on some of my top turns. This was a whole lot better than that. It was almost like I knew what I was doing except I know I don't LOL

Since I moved up to the Gold Coast (just before last christmas), I've improved dramatically, particularly in the last few months... except I only ever see rights (forehand) now!
I used to be a lot better on my backhand, but last night there was a (very small) A-frame peak so I could go left or right, and I discovered I can't surf left anymore

It only lasts until I get back to the car and realise I have 90 miles trip back home....

I need to migrate...
