Posted: Fri Jul 18, 2014 10:32 pmwhat are the dimensions? It's a Town and Country surfboard made in Hawaii by a shaper named Richardson probably Mike Richardson. Hard to tell much more from that one photo, kind of looks gunnish or meant for bigger waves but that would depend on the length.

Posted: Sat Jul 19, 2014 12:48 amI am not the best expert on boards but to me it looks like a board made for someone to ride larger waves however it might have been made for a heavy guy or an old man 
It will be easier to paddle into waves on than the shorter boards and should be ok in small waves too. Not sure what the three Rs mean.

Posted: Sat Jul 19, 2014 2:31 amAt first glance it looks like a typical small gun for Hawaiian waves from the late eighties. I agree about the Mike Richardson call--T&C shaper in Hawaii. I'm pretty sure he was shaping on the island when I lived there. Is the color due to water damage? Also what's the tail look like? Is it more of a pin, like a gun? Or is it more like a squash tail for smaller waves? That will give you a good idea about the rider size and wave type. If it's a pin, I'd guess average size rider, bigger, steeper waves. If it's a squash, I'd agree with oldmansui that it might have been for a bigger guy--lots of bigger guys in the islands

Posted: Sat Jul 19, 2014 4:03 amDon't know about the three r's, but definitely a north shore minigun, unless it was shaped and sold custom for someone off the island (who knows). If you really want to know more about it, send the pic and specs to T&C in Hawaii. I'm sure they can help you out

Usually hand made boards have a number written on them (where the dimensions are), so send that as well
