Surfing Waves

ive just got a new car and i dont really want to hide the keys like i used to when i go surfing. i wasnt really bothered about my old banger getting stolen. does anyone know of any good solutions?????

get an old shoe lase and the the key round your neck inside ur suit when your sufing.

or get a leash key pocket.

Yeah i used to have mine in a key pocket - but not sure what to do when we go in my mates car, cos it is electric

thats the problem, my keys are electric.

Get a plastic baggy, wrap it in that, and find a way to tie it to you... as long as the baggy isnt too thin, and you dont stay in for like 9 hours straight... should be kept dry.

I'm guessing you have a regular key but the central locking button is on it right?

If so you should be able to get a regular key from the manufacturers or the place you bought it. Or even take it down to a key cutters and just get a blank one cut.

If that doesn't help because of an alarm system then check the net for water tight containers / keysafes and such. I've seen bags for mobile phones so you can use them while you suf so there must be something smaller for your keys.

Yeah i dont know why i never thought of this before. i am a lifeguard, and we use AQUAPACS for our radios when ever we go out on the surf skis. Just "borrowed" one from work - works amazing. Also put a "special" fag and a lighter in there, very nice whilst sitting out the back!!!!
