Movie "Drift"

The other night we my wife decided to set us up with Netflix and last night we watched the surf movie "Drift". My wife typically only enjoys romantic movies or romantic comedies But, luckily she was up for watching this, which was a nice change...a man can only watch "Sleepless in Seattle" so many times before his "man card" is placed in jeopardy.
Has anyone else out there seen it? I really enjoyed it and personally thought it was a pretty good flick that didn't get caught up in the cheesy, kooky movie theatrics that surf movies often become susceptible to...likely as a result of not being produced by surfers

If you get a chance, its worth a watch.

Yes I've watched it, it's rates OK on the Jaffa scale, works as story number 11 on the list of all themes that can be applied to any script.
Adequate but after all your chick flicks it would be as refreshing as the Fremantle Doctor!
That about covers it.

Also, according to IMDB, if you liked Drift then you'll like 'Chasing Mavericks', I will reserve judgement until I have seen it though as the premise sounds a bit dodgy. mythical wave?

Just finished Chasing Mavericks. I take back my previous doubts. Great film with some epic surfing shots!! Will be checking out Drift soon
