"High Line" - hats off to Channel Islands Surf Shop

Every month or so, the original Channel Island surf shop in Santa Barbara, California, has a special in-store event. These events always involve free food by Wahoos or local favorite pizza shop, live music by surfing's luminary surfers, a movie premier, and many prizes (especially for wee groms!)

Last night was no exception. Many score surfing fans were treated to non gratis dinner and live music (3 electric guitars), beau coup prizes, and movie premier. See the movie trailer here and I've hear this short movie is available for download in near future.

The primary surfing stars in this new video are the Coffin Brothers. Their from Santa Barbara and peer to female surfing star, Lakey Peterson. The brothers, Conner and Parker, were present for their film premier. They played live music, gave out nearly one hundred prizes, and shared an 18th birthday with us (Conner).

It was another fabulous event hosted by Channel Island Surf Shop in little ol' Santa Barbara. Thanks to the Merrick family!!!
