Yes you do but why drive to newquay when you have great surf on your doorstep?

lol, no flights until the 27th, and i wanted to go on the 24th to get the weekend..... im on the west coast of scotland... no surf here, nearest surf is 2-3 hours away, and it isnt consistent... maybe 3-4 days a week it seems to be ok there (belhaven bay) plus newquay... well its a nice place for a weekend isnt it:-)

Try somewhere closer to home, Thurso, Inverness across to Banff, NE coast, frigidise your kilt.
Try Wales and head across to Eire , be romantic take your wife to Spain, Portugal or France.

Just get some imagination, without that your Caledonian wife has every right to think you're daft.

Canary Isles Azores, Morocco, Indonesia, warm water romance.

Get the walden feed the fever

Your having a giraffe aren't you? Newquay is a sh4t hole, full of sleezy pubs, stag nights and hen do's. Ok in the winter months but this time of year....

was actually outside newquay this weekend, at a music festival as well, so 2 birds with one stone.
@jaffa while i agree with all the suggestions, problem is having to take a bunch of screaming kids places.....they tend to kick off if its sub zero.... and cost a fortune to take 1 wife and 4 kids anywhere warm...
