New camping van: £54,000 to £70,000

The Doubleback T5 is based on a VW camper van and marketing includes photos of surfers. Like so many of these vehicles, most of us surfers cannot afford them as new. In addition, as with so many of these vehicles, most of us surfers are not drawn to the excessive creature comforts they provide. At any rate, see for yourself:

Whoa! That thing is fully loaded! I agree though, I think that's a little more luxury than I would want/need.

Only 54 grand. I think I'll get one. The picture of it parked on the beach was the clincher.

So you park on the beach, you and the mrs sleep in the extension bit in the back, the legs sink into the sand, and hey presto - when you wake up in the morning the van is doing a wheelie

KS,
Ha, ha! Well, I found it is essential to read papers daily from UK, Deutschland, Asia, and sometimes Middle East, in addition to several US papers. Otherwise, I wouldn't know what is really going on.
