Surfing Waves

well, for my 4th form camp i went 2 raglan surf school 4 4days. i was really excited 2 b getting proper lessons. but that excitement quickly turned to hysteria when i found out who would be coming in for one of the sessions - none other than daniel kereopa!! me and my friend loui talked about nothing else until the big day arrived and he came in2 the room where we were practising standing up. he didnt talk, but he came out with us for our 4hr session that day and spent time with all of us. he took me waay out the back, saying hed help me catch one of the big ones. i was a little nervous, as id only got up on whitewater b4 that. he pushed me onto a breaking wave, and i stood up. lol the best 3 seconds of my life. i then did a graceful faceplant in the whitewater, but i was still stoked. i got a photo with him afterwards when we were packing up. it was definitely the most special surfing experience ive ever had.
