Protecting your board in a hot car

I read the thread about this same topic that was posted back in '09 and didn't see any solutions. Does anyone have a solution to the age old problem of leaving your board in a hot car? I'd love to be able to surf after work without going home first and can't find ample shade to leave my board in the car. They don't want me bringing it into the office unfortunately...

Thanks!

A good reflective board bag can help a lot. It reflects a lot of the heat and helps keep your board cooler. I would also use a harder surf wax so it does not melt as easy.

Hi 90291, welcome to Surfing Waves.

There are some tips in this thread, viewtopic.php?f=6&t=19846 if you've not already seen it.
Keep the board out of direct sunlight, in a reflective bag as Tony suggests. Cover the windows if possible, and leave them open a slither if you're in a safe area.
