Surfing in Southampton UK

Hi all, new to the forum and new to surfing,
have had a couple of lessons and bought myself a board and wetsuit.
Am looking for people to buddy up with, share tips etc, have an estate car so can fit boards inside if anyone's up for it?

I'd be up for a meet. I have just bought all my gear too, but need more time in the waves. I tend not to go often as i don't feel confident on my own.
I live near bath,but go to boscombe or porthcawl. Can meet you at beach or on way?
