Surfing Waves

I was reading around and I saw a Body boarder was tired of islands with predominantly left handers, (poor dear) hence the question are some BBers goofy guts ( like goofy foot) prefering left handers and some natural guts.
I know some of our RSers are boogy boarders so I thought I'd ask.
BTW I'm not prejudiced against any particular craft , it can be all or any, based on the attitude of the person riding it.
My craft = long, short, bodysurf, boogie, mat, paipo and hand plane!

I ride DK (drop knee) and i find i can popup useing either foot. On my local break which is a right i normally use my left forward as it keeps the rail of the board more planted and i can get more speed out of the bottom turn..
Farther up the coast is a nice left point break and there i popup on my right.
Bodyboarding is all about speed and maintaining that speed.

All ways standup surf goofyfooted..

A few years ago Havianas had a promo where Layne Beachley was judging a contest at Bondi for the best surfer of an inflatable thong!

Is that where 'Jandal' comes from?! That's my 1 thing I've learned today (in spite of attending lectures all day at uni)!!!

oh, and back on topic(ish) how do you know which side is goofy or natural on a booger? the hand at the front or the hand on the rail?

Actually, in my experience it shouldn't matter anyway - Lefts, rights? It all becomes irrelevant since the BBers at Cronulla all take the close outs anyway
