Great White spotted in south San Diego yesterday.

Is there a certain period to avoid the water after a shark is spotted?
What do you usually do when there is a great white shark in your surfing spot?

Go surfing
There was a great white spotted (in Carlsbad) less then a mile or two away from where I usually surf a few months ago and I still went out. I was a bit more cautious, but it didn't really bother me. If it's my time to go, it's my time to go

.

That's one way to look at it

...I was at Carlsbad a few months ago, didn't even know about that one.

You surfing IB in the winter? I usually avoid it due to run off. How has it been?

Not IB, PB/La jolla is the furthest South I go.....but I figure a great white shark can get up and down the cost pretty fast, especially if there is a reason to, like surfers, I mean food.
However, this winter I have only been to Oceanside and the waves were small, 2-3 ft (in December).
