Hi,

I would like to go to Portugal in April . I was just wondering where it would be the best place to go to, somewhere not too far from a main airport, where the waves are Okay and where we could rent a board easily?

Thanks so much for your help! ;)

in portugal you have pretty much all over good waves and good board rentals...
most known would be peniche, but there are many other places..

well both places ring bells as frequently visited surf spots... you can surely find a lot about both spots on the net, even here on the site...

season wise, it surely is winter... the waves are way bigger and more consistent in winter and there are almost no crowds..
and due to currents, even in winter, the water wont hardly get below 15°C.. which is still quite cool and calls for a 4/3..

it realy depends on your surf skills tho... in winter, sometimes, the waves can get realy big...
