How would you comment on it unless you have tried one here it is a fantasy to become a reality.

But what type of wings would you like to see on the fins can you imagine a shape you would like to be made?
Let your mind explore the variations and experiment.

I have tried one years ago made in a cane farmers shed. The fin made out of aluminium.

The main issue with that setup is that the wings will prevent the board from rolling fron rail to rail, a secondary issue is that there are two unnecessary dragt inducing fin tips, the job could be accomplished with two rather than four.

If the fins are swapped so that the wings point inwards there will be some improvement.

Another problem is that the wing area is much too far from the bottom of the board, it should be within three inches or so of the bottom of the board otherwise the handling problems will be drastically increased at speed.

Are they like bicycle stabilisers for surfboards?

“All surfboard fins” create drag and friction.

Is that not what they say drag from fins.

It is this drag and friction that creates speed stability and maneuverability

Try to pump a finless surfboard nothing.

Pump a board with fins and you get speed.

These are speed fins it has 3 gears plus multiple combination settings and the ability to change wings.

When I first tested them they turned real well not only that it gave more hold than a regular twin fin may be more than a single totally resisting pin out in a turn real good for wide boards.

There may be a few features not visible to the eye twin fins are lose these a bit loser again combined with extra hold.

Just make sure your plugs are glassed in well.

Yes they will give extra stability those wings are like running on rails.

It is nice to take off in powerful surf. I like it when the wave jacks up on take of.

These are high performance fins they require high performance equipment manufacturing of the fin box.

On this particular strut the wing is just under 4 inches from the bottom of the Surfboard.

I will be making a 6 inch strut and a 3 inch strut as well.

I call the part the wing holds on to a strut as in time I will totally design all fin area out of this part it will be just an egg foiled shaped rod going down to the wing mount exactly as I made the first one.

This will be insanely loose.

Yet that wing will have incredible hold in and out of turns from rail to rail.
