Avoiding me? And advice on new boards

Jeez, if you look down the list of the number of replies, the ones that have 0 are all mine.
Anyways, I've decided to get a small wave shortboard. I went to my local surf shop, and the guy recommended 3 different boards (two of which I had already been interested in). The JS Blak Box, the Sharp Eye Disco, and the AJW X stump, all in 5'6. Do any of you own these boards? I need them for shin high to shoulder high surf, and I need to be able to duckdive it (im 5'7 and 120 lb.) I surf in Southern NC, USA.

Probably just that no-one owns any of the boards you mentioned. Also choosing a board for anyone other than a beginner is a bit like choosing a dress for a girl. Only she knows what she likes. Any chance you can find a shop that has demo models of each or even one?

I wouldn't feel bad about the lack of replies, I posted something similar at the start of the summer and zip aswell. Keep posting though, and if you do find one that works well for you let us know about it. Better yet, if you get a chance to try all 3, maybe a quick review or something?

Can I also just say, caught you at Earls Court in '94, best gig I've ever been to.... Shine on you crazy diamond!
