CI Dumpster Diver

Postby wharden12 » Mon Nov 28, 2011 9:42 pm

hey, has anyone used the dumpster diver. I live on the east coast and since the waves tend to be mushy I was thinking of getting one. Probably around 5'6 or 5'8. What do you guys think of the board?

I have not personally ridden the dumpster diver, but it is an extremely popular surfboard for small to med sized waves, and generating lots of speed in small surf. In fact it was voted surfboard of the year 2010 by SIMA (Surf Industry Manufacturers Association). I think it is a safe bet for small to med sized surf.

I would get what ever Channel Islands recommends with that board. It is probably the standard Al Merrick template, but you should check with Channel Islands to see what they recommend.
