Making a oldschool surfboard

Have any of you guys ever made one of those old school surfboards that are made outta wood and weigh like a million pounds (kilos) (grams) (stones) (whatever you wanna call it) way back when surfing was starting to get popular???

if anyone has blue prints on how to make a wooden surfboard, i will idolize you like no other, and you will be my god.

By the look of your location you may be from Southern California???? If I'm right I have a few friends out there and They have told me that old school surf boards can be found in the area, don't know exactly where but I am sure you can do a search on the web and find the blueprints. Ebay may even be a possibility of all else fails. I'll try to look into it for you.
