Ripcurl wetsuit keeps me completely dry?

Hey guys,

Recently bought a Ripcurl suit, it's so damn good no water got in it! I heard that water inside the suit is what keeps you warm (which i am now told is wrong) but what I was doing is physically pulling the neck to let water into the suit.

Do think this is what it was made to do, keep me dry; or should i continue to let a layer of water enter by forcing it in?

Spent a lot of money on this suit but I think it was worth it, top notch.

Cheers,

Josh

I have a rip curl wetsuit and mine does the same sort of thing. It shouldn't take in a noticeable layer of water, just an extremely thin layer. Being dry inside your suit should also keep you warm, so I would say do whatever keeps you warmest.

Hi JoshSurf, welcome to Surfing Waves!

Sounds like it's a great fitting wetsuit. If you have a suit that's continually flushing through cold water, it will never keep you warm.
