Right i have a wetsuit as per this morning, it was bought for me it is not completely skin tight in some areas, a few little sags that you cant really see but i know they are there, does the wetsuit have to be completely tight or can there be a fair amount of give to it? Where shall i draw the line and wat would be the effects if it was slightly too big? Thanks respond asap as i wanna use it tomoz?

Well I wouldnt ever have a too-big wetsuit, especially if your a keen surfer (ie surfing in the winter) as 1) You wont feel the benefits and the warm water your body makes within the wetsuit will be flushed out everytime you wipe-out...Unless you never wipe-out of course! :)
And 2) Its also quite dangerous to have a sagging wetsuit as it becomes heavy...enough said really.
Hope this helps, and I guess it depends on just HOW big the wetsuit is, and next time make sure you get yourself into a shop where you can try on a few different brands and sizes.

try and get one that fits perfect it might take a while i just picked up a 5/3 rip curl today and after trying on about 5 suits, was dripign with sweat in the end, i finaly found one that fits

did try on a real nice zipless c-skin but i couldnt do the zip in the front up on my own so there was no point in geting it shame realy as it was a sweet suit

a suit that is to big really won't be the greatest... how many times have you worn it? maybe you could get a different size? also, how cold is the water you are using it in?? if the water isnt to cold, it might not really make that big a difference, like if say it is a 3/2 suit and the water is 60 degrees than you will probably be all set. if you are in like 40 degree water, you may need a different suit.

at the moment the water temp in the UK is 15c but will drop rapidly now by december water temp will be 8-9c so you need at least a 5/3 or 5/4/3 for the winter here
